Char Dham Yatra from Haridwar

Day-by-day plan

1. Day 1 Haridwar to Barkot

   Pickup from Haridwar and drive via Mussoorie to Barkot. Check in and rest for the Yamunotri trek.

2. Day 2 Yamunotri darshan

   Drive to Janki Chatti and trek about 6 km to Yamunotri (pony or palki available). Darshan, holy dip at the hot springs, and return to Barkot.

3. Day 3 Barkot to Uttarkashi

   Drive along the Bhagirathi valley to Uttarkashi. Evening visit to the Kashi Vishwanath temple.

4. Day 4 Gangotri darshan

   Day trip to Gangotri via Harsil. Darshan at Gangotri temple and return to Uttarkashi.

5. Day 5 Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

   Long scenic drive via Tehri to Guptkashi. Early dinner and rest before Kedarnath.

6. Day 6 Kedarnath darshan

   Drive to Sonprayag, shuttle to Gaurikund and trek about 16 km to Kedarnath (pony, palki or helicopter at own cost). Evening aarti and overnight near the temple.

7. Day 7 Kedarnath to Guptkashi

   Morning darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.

8. Day 8 Guptkashi to Badrinath

   Drive via Chopta and Joshimath to Badrinath. Evening darshan and aarti.

9. Day 9 Mana village and return

   Visit Mana, the last village before the border, with Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Drive down to Rudraprayag or Srinagar.

10. Day 10 Return to Haridwar

    Drive back to Haridwar via Devprayag. Drop at your hotel, railway station or bus stand.
